Planning
Structure, radio-frequency shielding, radiation protection, utilities and equipment connections were managed in one model.
The brief was a complete radiology institute for outpatient imaging: CT, MRI, reporting, reception and waiting areas on one site. Both machines need low-vibration, load-rated foundations, continuous cooling and utilities, and each its own protective envelope.
The risk was not in any single trade, but in their interplay: two major machines with contradictory requirements that had to be planned, built and commissioned in parallel – aligned with the manufacturers’ delivery dates.
Structure, radio-frequency shielding, radiation protection, utilities and equipment connections were managed in one model.
The lift-in of the major equipment was coordinated with manufacturer delivery.
Calibration, phantom tests and acceptance formed part of the step to operational readiness.
Four clear phases, managed as one continuous line.
Review the site, structure and protection requirements.
Integrate shielding, utilities and equipment connections.
Coordinate foundations, cabin, protection and lift-in.
Bring commissioning, acceptance and documentation together.
An operational institute with CT and MRI.
We connect medical use, space and technology.
